B.C. Judge orders Google to block website

16:02 Jun 13 2014 Burnaby, Greater Vancouver Regional District, British Columbia, Canada

Description
Supreme Court Justice Lauri Ann Fenlon has ruled that Google must remove the website of the company Datalink from its global search results. Technology company Equustek alleged that Datalink had stolen its product design, and obtained a court order to require Google to remove Datalink from its search results in Canada. However, Equustek followed up by requesting that Justice Fenlin order Google to block those results worldwide. This is the first known case of a worldwide court order against Google.
