Description
A CBC journalist who filed an an access to information request to Health Canada received a package of 400 documents- with just one phrase blacked out. The documents requested contained information about food labels, and the blacked out phrase appeared on the first page: "Review of serving size (blank) guidelines." Further investigation revealed that the phrase was censored because it was an official cabinet secret, protected under Section 69 of the Access to Information Act.
