Woman convicted for Instagram post of anti-police graffiti

22:45 Apr 23 2015 Montreal city, Montreal (06), Quebec, Canada

Description
Jennifer Pawluck has been convicted of criminal harassment for an image she posted to Instagram in 2013 of street graffiti. The graffiti, which Pawluck did not draw, depicted Montreal officer Cmdr. Ian Lafreniere with a bullet in his head. Pawluck claimed to have no specific knowledge of the police officer or intent to harass him. However, the judge was skeptical of this based on her involvement in the 2012 student protests.
